Amit Dutta
Amit brings with him over 14 years of experience in the Food & Agribusiness sector across South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. He has worked extensively with governments, multilateral agencies, impact investors, and corporates across the agriculture, food, and sustainability landscape.
At Frost & Sullivan, he leads strategic consulting engagements focused on go-to-market strategy, value chain analysis, feasibility studies, and opportunity mapping. His sectoral expertise spans agriculture inputs, animal protein, processed foods, food safety, agri-tech, and large-scale farming. He has played a key advisory role in food security and market development initiatives across the GCC, particularly in Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the UAE.
His experience also includes project management, market research, due diligence, and impact assessments for both private clients and development institutions. A recognized speaker in the industry, he has featured at major platforms including Gulfoods, Saudi Food Show, GPCA, and the Asia Food Congress.
Prior to Frost & Sullivan, he worked with YES Bank, Ernst & Young, Shapoorji & Pallonji, and Harrisons Malayalam. In 2020, he was awarded “Most Influential Food Industry Professional” at the Asia Food Congress & Awards in Mumbai. Speaking engagements (prominent ones) –

- Dr. Shashank Bhalkar is presently the Executive Director at PFNDAI.

- He has over 27 years of rich experience working in (R&D, QA, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Procurement), in the Nutritional Food / Nutraceuticals Industry.
- He worked in various Indian and Multinational industries which are in the business of manufacturing Nutritional and Nutraceutical products. The organizations include reputed manufacturers like FDC Ltd, Raptakos Brett & Co. Ltd., Herbalife International, and Abbott Nutrition.
Indranil Chatterjee
- Mr. Indranil is now responsible for the India Sub Continent Region and is responsible for Strategy and Execution of the use of Plant Protein based ingredients Solutions Food, Beverages, Meat alternatives, Nutrition and Nutraceutical Industries across the world and particularly this region.
- He has solid 37 +years of experience in Sales, Marketing of various food ingredients and has been pioneer in promoting soy and plant based sustainable and nature derived ingredients in India Subcontinent, Asean, Africa and middle east market.
- Mr. Indranil Chatterjee has an outstanding academic background with M.Sc. (Food Technology) from CFTRI (Central Food Technological Research Institute Mysore). He also received B.Sc (Agriculture & Animal Husbandry) (Hons) from GB Pant Agriculture University, Pantnagar, Nainital, India.

- Mr. Abhijit is an Associate Director – R&D India at Kellogg.
- Completed his B. Tech. (Specialized in Food Technology & Engg.) from ICT, Mumbai
- He manages the team of product developers for Kellogg’s India portfolio for brand’s like Chocos, Muesli 12 in 1, Granola, Choco’s Fills, etc.

Bhushan N. Yengade

Bhushan Yengade is a globally renowned Food Technologist and the founder of Binder Technology Consultancy, a firm specialising in project management, technical consultation, training, and market research across the food processing, petrochemicals, and gas sectors. His consultancy provides strategic insights and regulatory compliance support to businesses.
He trained as a Food Technologist at Marathwada Agricultural University, India, and the University of Reading, United Kingdom. Bhushan has built a distinguished career across both the private and public sectors, with expertise spanning new product development, quality management, technical operations, and policy advisory.
In the private sector, he has led the development of innovative and profitable food products while optimising supply chains to meet global quality and safety standards. His contributions to regulatory frameworks and risk analysis strategies have helped businesses achieve compliance and expand into new markets.
During his tenure in the public sector, Bhushan worked with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries of India for Maharashtra State, overseeing the National Mission on Food Processing. His responsibilities included evaluating projects in cold supply chains, dairy, agro-processing, bakery, and confectionery, ensuring adherence to technical standards and regulatory compliance.
His key assignments include policy development in the agri-food and processing sector, fostering public-private partnership models for multi-fruit processing industries, conducting strategic market research in food, petrochemicals, and gas sectors, identifying opportunities for ice-cream manufacturing expansion in Maharashtra, and analysing the impact of Brexit and BRICS on the global food processing industry.
Bhushan is actively engaged in food safety and entrepreneurship training. He is an FSSAI-certified trainer. He has conducted programmes for organisations such as the World Bank, World Trade Center, Gulfood, and the Indian Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME). His initiatives focus on enhancing food processing levels, reducing wastage, and adding value for farmers and industries alike.
With expertise in European food laws, risk assessment, agricultural supply chain research, and sensory evaluation, Bhushan continues to shape industry practices and policy frameworks. His cross- sector knowledge and strategic insights make him a key resource for businesses navigating complex regulatory landscapes and emerging market opportunities. He is the Joint Secretary of the Association of Food Scientists and Technologists of India (Mumbai).
