As the Official Partner Region of Anuga Select India 2026, the European Union (EU) marks a historic milestone as the first-ever Partner Region at an international food and beverage exhibition in India. Representing 27 Member States, the EU will showcase the richness and diversity of Europe's agri-food sector through a curated pavilion celebrating quality, authenticity, sustainability, innovation, and world-renowned culinary traditions. Visitors can discover premium food and beverage categories including dairy, cheese, bakery, confectionery, meat, fruits and vegetables, olive oil, beer, wine and spirits, and specialty products protected under the EU's Geographical Indications (GI) quality scheme.

Through product showcases, live cooking and pairing demonstrations, tastings, knowledge sessions, and business interactions, the EU Pavilion will offer Indian buyers, importers, distributors, retailers, and HoReCa professionals valuable insights into Europe's food excellence while creating new opportunities for trade, collaboration, and innovation between Europe and India. The partnership reflects the growing strategic relationship between the European Union and India and reinforces Anuga Select India's role as the leading platform connecting global food suppliers with one of the world's fastest-growing food and beverage markets.

"Europe and India share rich culinary traditions, reflecting the diversity of their cultures and food products. The future Free Trade Agreement and an agreement on Geographical Indications will bring greater and cheaper access to premium European products for the Indian market, with robust guarantees in terms of authenticity and food safety. The EU Pavilion at Anuga Select India 2026 will offer a taste of authentic regional flavours, world-class quality, and cutting-edge innovation from Europe, serving as a powerful bridge for collaboration that connects markets, supply chains, and culinary outlets between the EU and India."
